VG 110 Cylindrical Grinder Series

Tel: Click for Telephone

The Specification Is As Follows:

The VG 110 series of modular machines for the hard turning and grinding of cylindrical components with

Machining dia. 2 - 60 mm
Clamping length max. 125 mm
Machining length max. 60 mm
The machine configurations:

Vertical Grinding Center
Vertical Turning and Grinding Center
This allows the end user to either grind the traditional way or to profit from the advantages offered by a combination of turning and grinding on a single machine: Where the process specification permits, sections of the workpiece are soft or hard finish turned and only finish-ground (most frequently after having first been pre-turned) as the process specification demands. This not only improves component quality but also reduces cycle times. It also limits the wear and tear of grinding wheels and, consequently, the number of dressing cycles required.
